Frequently Asked Questions and Additional Information About Certified Document Translations

  • A certified document translation is a word-for-word, human translation of your original document, prepared on our professional translating partner’s official letterhead and accompanied by a signed and stamped Certificate of Translation Accuracy.

This certificate verifies that the translation is complete and accurate to the best of the translator’s ability.

Our certified translations are accepted for official use by:

    • U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)

    • Universities and educational institutions

    • Courts and legal agencies

    • Local, state, and federal government offices

These translations meet U.S. translation certification standards, making them ideal for immigration, legal, academic, and business purposes.

  • Yes! We offer notarization services as an optional add-on for all certified translations for an additional fee. Each Certificate of Translation Accuracy in your order will be notarized for a single per-order fee.

    Our notarization process includes:

    • A signature from our certified translation department representative

    • A Remote Online Notary Public (RON) signature and seal, including the notary’s commission number and expiration date

We notarize certified translations in batches twice daily (Monday–Friday). Once your translation is finalized, it will be included in the next available notarization batch.

You may also request Remote Online Notarization for personal or business documents.

  • We’ve streamlined our translation process to make it clear, efficient, and easy to follow:

    1. Submit your order through our secure online form.

    2. We assign a professional human translator based on your document’s language and subject.

    3. The translation is reviewed for accuracy and formatting.

    4. You receive your completed certified translation within the expected turnaround time.

Our turnaround times are clearly posted on our order form, and we’ll always communicate with you about progress and deadlines. Rush or same-day service may be available upon request.

  • We work with 100% human translators

    Our translators are:

    • Native speakers of the target language

    • Experienced professionals with 3+ years of experience, located all over the world.

    • Often hold industry certifications or accreditations in translation or linguistics

Although there is no single global certification for translators, we carefully vet each team member to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.

  • Turnaround time varies based on several factors, including document length, language pair, and complexity.

    As a general guide:

    • 1–3 page documents (up to 250 words) are typically completed within 1–2 business days.

    • Larger or more complex documents may require more time.

Our expected turnaround times are clearly shown on the order form, and we’ll work with you to meet any deadlines you may have.

  • We provide certified translation services in over 130 languages, including:
Spanish, French, Arabic, Chinese, Portuguese, Russian, German, Hebrew, Italian, Vietnamese, Korean, and many more.

Please review the full list of our supported languages.
